My sister came home today!!! My sister Isabel has spent around 2 years in France, only visiting a couple times. She has lived all over the south of France, she spent some time in Aix-en-Provence, she stayed with one of our past exchange students in Marseille, spent most of her time teaching english in Bordeaux, and many other places as well. It's good to see her because I haven't seen her in almost a year, but especially because she is almost fluent in Spanish, so she can tutor me over the summer along with my two brothers so that I can be better prepared for my exchange.

Last Sunday, as part of my lacrosse team, we delivered mulch to everyone who ordered it. I'm blogging about this because I don't really have anything better to blog about, but later this week I will have something better to talk about. So basically what we did was all the lacrosse team split up into different "teams" and each worked with their team. Me and my friends loaded a total of about 200 bags of mulch into a truck and delivered the mulch all over South Bend as well as Michigan, Granger, and Osceola. Anyway, that's all for now, adios
This weekend was the All IN District Conference. So what we did for this weekend was we all met in Indianapolis to do some service. Not only was district 6540 in attendance, but two other districts as well.We checked in at a place called Conner Prairie to do service. We spent our time weeding mustard garlic plant which is an invasive species. After about two ours, we then were able to explore Conner Prairie which is a living history museum. After that, we took a bus to Noblesville High School where we spent the night. There we played games, had dinner, and exchanged some pins! After a couple of hours, we settled down, and camped on the gym floor for the night. In the morning we woke up, ate, showered, and took a bus to Marriott hotel in downtown Indianapolis and we waited for lunch. We had a flag procession on the way into lunch where we said who we were, and where we are going. There was a lot of people at our lunch because it was for a whole bunch of Rotarians, and all the exchange students, inbounds and outbounds, each sat at a table with different Rotarians. The purpose of that was so that the exchange students could promote how incredible this exchange is to rotarians who might not know a lot about it. After lunch there was more service opportunities but we left early. I had a great time at this conference because it not only strengthened the friendship of those in district 6540, but it allowed us to branch out and meet even more people who are going to be, or are going, through the same experience as me.

I had forgotten all about it until the last day of break (yesterday) when I got an email from my host sister. I will be living in the city of Esperanza. It is located in the province of Santa Fe, and is about a 5 hour drive from Buenos Aires and around an 8 hour drive to Uruguay. I will be living with a small family with 3 kids. Im beyond excited to start my adventure and share it all with you.
